ROCK NIGHTSTAND
A bedside table completely made of stone. Through a simple trick the piece, which is in fact the assembly of five parts, appears sculpted from a solid block. Rock can be positioned in two different ways: showings its two “blind” sides thus keeping the content of its lower shelf hidden and private, or showing its 2 open sides, thus offering open access and view to the lower shelf. The surface is finished with a light three-dimensional weathered finish that further increases the preciousness of the natural material and that in time hides potential scratches and stains. White Carrara or black New Saint Laurent marble. Matte honed finish. Other stones and finishes are available upon request.

Un comodino monomaterico realizzato completamente in pietra che attraverso una piccolo invenzione costruttiva appare come scolpito. Rock può essere posizionato in due modi: esponendo i due lati ciechi si nasconde il contenuto del ripiano inferiore mentre lo stesso si rende accessibile e visibile esponendo invece i due lati aperti. La superficie del comodino è completata con una finitura leggermente tridimensionale che accentua la preziosità e l’unicità del materiale naturale e che nel tempo nasconde eventuali macchie e graffi. Marmo di Carrara bianco o New Saint Laurent nero. Finitura opaca. Su richiesta sono disponibili altre pietre e finiture.
