The setting: a villa dating back to the 1200’s in the hills above Florence with a full view of the city. Recently renovated it combines ancient features with modern lighting and flooring. In the living room is a large fresco by Spinello Aretino from the last decade of the 1300’s framed by a gothic arch. This piece of almost-Renaissance art sets a compelling aesthetic tone and it imposes a challenging color palette. It is from this house that Epònimo took inspiration to develop part of its very first furniture collection in 2014 and it is in this house that our new pieces for 2025 find their ideal setting, side by side with other elements from our current catalogue. Once again to convey the sophisticated naturalness of the interior we shot it with natural light and we styled it only minimally through subtraction rather than addition.
