JUXTAPOSITIONS
Epònimo goes back to where it started in 2013, in via Brera in the homonymous district of Milano. We set up in a small but precious apartment that largely preserves its late baroque boiserie and sealings. In such a space we naturally play with the juxtaposition of Eponimo’s pieces and the rich decorated existing environment: our contemporary pieces in bright vibrant colors find an harmonious contrast against a backdrop of Maria Teresa yellow, celadon green, tea-leaf grey and gold-leaf. Eponimo’s pieces are actors in this play, well versed in the art of metamorphosis. Shown live for the first time are our Big Sur desk, Ghost coffee-table, Nova chaise-longue, armchair and pouf and New Outline bench. But even the pieces that were presented in previous years take up a new identity through colors and materials.
